Why is Vitamin K2 called the golden nutrient for bone and heart health?

Vitamin K2, also known as menaquinone, has gained the reputation of being the "golden nutrient" for bone and heart health due to its remarkable benefits in these areas. Unlike its more commonly known counterpart, Vitamin K1, which is primarily associated with blood clotting, Vitamin K2 plays a crucial role in directing calcium to where it is needed most in the body, such as the bones and teeth, while preventing it from accumulating in the arteries and soft tissues.
